Message From Our Principal
Mrs Jackie Stockdale
I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude to our amazing fundraising committee for their incredible efforts in planning, organising, and bringing our first-ever outdoor cinema event to life. From start to finish, their dedication, creativity, and teamwork made it a truly memorable experience for our school community.
I would like to thank them for the countless hours they put into every detail, from setting up to coordinating logistics, ensuring everything went smoothly. The event was a huge success and brought so much joy and excitement to our students and families. Watching everyone come together under the stars, enjoying the movie and each other’s company, was a perfect reminder of the community spirit that makes our school so special.
We are excited to announce that we have teamed with the 'The Phone Pledge' to offer a parent session. All parents within the community are welcome to attend. If you are coming please complete this form: https://forms.gle/yLZVxpLxnaxnjZKT8
A big thank you to the 2 parents who have been in to contact some books for us. We would love to see more of you for a cupp and some contacting:
On Wednesday we completed a off-site evacuation drill. Practicing an off-site evacuation drill is essential for ensuring that students and staff are well-prepared to respond safely and calmly in an emergency situation. Such drills provide hands-on experience in managing potential challenges, such as moving quickly and efficiently to a designated location, accounting for all students, and following instructions under pressure. During our recent off-site evacuation, our students demonstrated remarkable behaviour; they were calm, attentive, and respectful throughout the entire process. Their ability to follow directions and maintain focus made the drill a success, reinforcing the importance of preparedness and teamwork in ensuring everyone’s safety.
Last Friday we celebrated World Teachers' Day by acknowledging our staff at assembly and giving our teachers a super cute flower pot.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated teachers at St Patrick's Primary School. Every day, our teachers inspire, guide, and nurture our students, creating a vibrant learning environment where each child is encouraged to thrive. From classroom teaching to leadership roles, each staff member contributes uniquely, fostering a culture of care, growth, and achievement. Special thanks to Miss Lauren Bennet, Miss Stephanie Hayes, Miss Jaleigha Hart, Mrs Ashlea Stock, Mrs Maddie Tyler, Mrs Geenah Loughran, Miss Katie Rasmussen, and all our specialist staff – Mrs Lisa Corso, Mrs Sarah Sarah, Mrs Fiona MKiernan, and Miss Alex Wooden – for their unwavering commitment and passion. We celebrate their tireless efforts and the positive impact they make in our school community. Thank you for all that you do!
The Curriculum Day originally scheduled for Thursday the 19th of September will now be occurring on Tuesday 19th of November.
