School Advisory Council

The School Advisory Council is seeking nominations from Parents interested in assisting the school as a Council Member for 2025. There are two (2) positions available to fill for 2025. There are 10 elected positions in total. A term of office for elected members shall be for a period of two years. Nomination forms are available as a Google Form which can be completed online by clicking this link . Nominations will close on Thursday 21st November, therefore forms must be submitted before then. If a vote is necessary, it will take place at the AGM on Tuesday 26th November 2024.

The School Advisory Council AGM will be held on Tuesday 26th November, commencing at 6pm in the Staff Room. This meeting is the only School Advisory meeting which non elected members are able to attend. We would be very pleased to see members of our parent community at this meeting.

The School Advisory Council is an advisory body which supports the Principal and Parish Priest. This group is not a decision making body. It is responsible for offering advice/support on school operational policies, finance, building and maintenance, staffing and curriculum and to keep in touch with the school community. Some sub committees are formed to assist these functions. Members are required to attend a handful of meetings each year. A high level of integrity and confidentiality is required.

Overnight Excursions

The overnight excursion costs for 2024 have now been finalised. The amounts owed have been added to your compass portal.

To be able to offer our students positive and engaging experiences at an affordable price, the School and P&F will jointly subsidise each overnight excursion to the value of 40%. 

Parent costs will be as follows:-

Year 5 - Lake Keepit - $380 - 19th - 22nd November

Payment by instalments is welcome. Payments can be made via Bpay or via the Compass App. We ask that excursion fees be paid in full by the end of Term 3, Friday 27th September 2024. If you are experiencing difficulties, or will need longer to pay, please contact the office for an appointment to discuss options.
