On Monday we held the book character parade as part of the celebrations for Book Week. There were a lot of students and staff dressed and everyone looked fantastic. The parade was held on our blue-green court. Thank you to the many parents and friends that attended the parade, it was great to see so many adults here to support their young person and the school.

Resilience Project
I am excited to announce that we, along with the other schools in Rochester will be part of the resilience project program being rolled out across our local area. The Resilience Project delivers emotionally engaging programs to schools based on evidence-based mental health strategies to build resilience and happiness. Through presentations, school curriculum, events, the App, and Wellbeing Journals, they share the benefits of Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness, and easy ways to practise these in everyday life. We have staff, student and parent information presentations scheduled for week 9 of this term. The parent session will be held on Thursday the 12th September at 6:30 -8pm at the CVCC. All welcome. Please see attached flyer for registration details.
