What we've been up to

Speech Pathology Week

This week 25th - 31st August is Speech Pathology Week when we celebrate and recognise the contribution of the Speech pathologists in our region. Our Speech Pathologist is Kim Lee and she does an amazing job shining a light on all the different ways people communicate, and she strives to highlight communication, in whatever form as a basic right by empowering people to communicate their way! We appreciate everything that she does to make our school a more inclusive place.

Thankyou Kim

On Friday 2nd August was Principal's Day we not only celebrated our wonderful Principal Dehlia and her achievements, we also acknowledged our amazing Leadership team. Thank you for all you do to make our school amazing.

Fantastic news, on Friday Evening the North Rockhampton Special School took out two awards at the Master Builders Awards, Education Facility over $10 and Central Queensland’s Project of the year award!

Great to get some recognition following the tremendous amount of effort everyone put into this project. It’s a fantastic facility and I’m sure the kids are loving putting it to use!

Congratulations to all involved.

No Bullying campaign

Our students worked hard this week learning about bullying and the effect this can have on people's lives and how to say No to Bullying! They made some great posters and presented them today on parade. Well done!
