Grandparents and Special Friends Day

On Thursday the whole school had grandparents or special friends day! We could bring a grandparent or special friends. First we went to church. After we finished church we did activities with our grandparents or special friends. We did an activity about the movie up. We had to draw our house and draw balloon strings. After We were done drawing we got paint and used our fingers to paint the balloons. Our grandparents helped us. After we were done with our activity they went to have some tea, sandwiches, chocolate cookies and so much more. We had a really good time!

On Grandparent's Day I had a fun day with my Grandma. First we had a mass at our school's parish church and after that we came back to the classroom together. Our activity was finger painting using the idea of "Up" the movie. I drew the house, and my grandma told me what to do. When it came time to fingerpaint the balloons for the roof we did it together. I used 3 colours and my grandma used the other 3 colours. After we had done that we had to put the quote "Grandma, you lift me up!". I enjoyed getting to do an activity with my grandma at school. Can't wait for next year!
