This week, we're celebrating our fantastic Preps!
We've been exploring the story La Gallinella Rossa (The Little Red Hen).
Our students have learned the names of the animals in Italian: il gatto (the cat), il cane (the dog), l’asino (the donkey), la gallinella rossa (the little red hen), and il coniglio (the rabbit).
They've loved participating in the shared reading of the story, which has deepened their understanding of the words and phrases.
Through roleplay and song, the Preps have picked up on using simple gestures to emphasise the Italian expressions in the text.
