PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held onsite on Thursday 19th September, between 11.00am and 7.00pm.  This will be a variation to the school day. Normal classes will not run, however students are required to attend their interview. Previously we have run these interviews as student led conferences. This year students will share some of their learning with their family, however the focus will on discussing student's progress. Bookings for interviews will open on Compass on Monday 9th September and close on Tuesday 17th September.

PREP BAGS 2024 SURVEY

Have your say about this year’s Prep bags in a short survey, closing Sunday 29 September

Each year, the Department of Education gives every Prep student attending a Victorian Government School a bag full of goodies to celebrate this milestone in their education journey. The information and educational resources in the bags are designed to help Prep students and their families thrive from the start of Term 1.

The Department is inviting parents and carers of current Prep students to complete a short survey about the 2024 Prep bags, by 5 pm on Sunday 29th September 2024.

Your feedback will help the Department learn what families liked about the Prep bags and what can be improved in 2025.

You can have your say by clicking on the following link: Prep Bags 2024 Evaluation Survey.

The survey takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous.

For more information on this year’s Prep bags, refer to Prep bags.

ACADEMY INFORMATION EVENING RECAP

We hosted our Academy Information Evening for Primary Years at the Performing Arts Centre on Thursday 5th of September. The support from parents was incredible, and the turnout was amazing. We are thrilled that our Student Leadership Academy and Instrumental Music Academy will continue in 2025. More details regarding the application process will be posted on Compass soon. Additionally, the presentation from the evening will be shared with parents early next week to ensure everyone is informed about the key information discussed.

R U OK? DAY

We are excited to celebrate R U OK? Day next Thursday, 12th September. To mark this important day of mental health awareness, we invite all students to wear a splash of yellow, such as a yellow shirt, accessory, or any item of clothing, alongside their usual school uniform.

R U OK? Day is an opportunity to promote the importance of checking in on one another and fostering a supportive community. By participating, students can show their support and help raise awareness for mental health. Thank you for your ongoing support in making this day meaningful for our school community.
