Eisteddfod - percussion

Congratulations to our bucket drumming group who performed at the Orange Eisteddfod and were awarded 1st place for their foot-tapping beats to ‘Shake It Off’.

Weekend Sunrise

Ryan and Marg recently appeared live on Sunrise! They spoke about the incredible impact of our Grandfriends Program and how much it means to everyone involved. Although Kruz was initially to be on camera as well, there wasn’t enough space in the end. He showed remarkable resilience and provided great support for Ryan!

Just minutes before the interview, Ryan and Marg were feeling a bit nervous. Ryan lightened the mood with a fun fact: “Hey Marg, did you know that when you’re stressed, you produce more ear wax?” This broke the ice and had everyone cracking up laughing.

A huge shoutout to Edwina, whose dedication has been instrumental in getting this program off the ground.

Public Schools Orange - Performing Arts Project

We very proudly participated alongside 10 other public schools in the PSO Showcase on Monday 9th September at the Orange Civic Theatre. Our percussion group, junior and senior dance groups and choir took the stage to show the audience how talented they are and how they love to perform.

The Principal of Orange Public School commented that Anson Street School's items were a standout, very polished and definitely the audience favourites!

If you were not able to watch the performance last week, here is a link to see our amazing students in action:

Morning Tea with the Principal

Who loves school?! We sure do! This term, we celebrated 53 of our incredible students who have shown outstanding commitment to their learning with either zero or just one day off school! These awesome students were invited to a special morning tea with Ms Pritchard, where they enjoyed delicious treats and were presented with a certificate in recognition of their dedication. Well done to all the students - we are so proud of your efforts! Keep up the fantastic work!
