Trivia Night – Thank you! 

Since thanks to everyone who joined and supported our recent Trivia Night – described by one participant as ‘the perfect winter event’. Arising directly from parent feedback, the event brought our school community together for a fun local event. 

It was great to see so many parents enjoying plenty of laughs (and showcasing previously hidden knowledge across musical genres, TV commercials, exotic fruit, Monopoly characters and Shakespeare!).  Congratulations to the winners who brought home some rather dubious trophies! 

Special thanks to Lisa Vollugi and the organising committee, and to the team at Riverside who hosted a fantastic event.   Fund raising tally will be confirmed in the next few weeks, with gold coins in the pink piggy bank totalling over $300!

Colour Run and Sportathon 

Please mark your calendars for Monday 27th October when the P+F will host the much-anticipated 2025 St Mary’s Colour Run and Sportathon.  This will be our major fundraiser for the year, with parent involvement central to success.

Grandparents and Special Persons Day

Friday 31st October (ahead of Melbourne Cup long weekend).  We warmly invite Grandparents and Special People to save this date and join us at St Mary’s.  With many grandparents travelling long distances across Victoria and even interstate last year, we look forward to this special occasion in Term 4.

Battle of the Saints – good luck!!

Finally, on behalf of the Parents and Friends Group, best of luck to all involved in the upcoming Battle of the Saints game competing for the Paul Hogan cup.
