SCHOOL LEADERSHIP MESSAGE

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
In the first two weeks of the Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey we have had 31 responses. If we continue at this rate, and I hope we do, we are on track to get above 60 responses by the end of the survey period. Thanks to the people who have already completed this survey and emailed me to go into the draw for a $50 uniform voucher. If you haven’t yet emailed me there is still time.
We sent you an invitation to complete the survey. If you cannot find the invite, please reach out and we can resend this invitation to you. If you would like help to complete the survey, please reach out to the school on 56551566.
Your opinions are important to us and will contribute to identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies so we can make our school an even better place for our community. The department will use the results from the survey for research purposes and to improve outcomes for students.
Remember to email - naomi.coleman@education.vic.gov.au to go into the draw for the uniform voucher. If we get to 60 responses there will be a second prize draw of a $30 voucher and if we get 80 responses there will be a third prize draw of a $20 uniform voucher.
There have been 19 responses in the first week and another 12 responses in the second week - we are off to a good start but we are still only at 8% of the number of links we sent out. We need your voices to be heard so please take the time to let us know your anonymous feedback.
Next week, we have our Parent-Teacher Interviews on Tuesday from 2 pm to 5 pm and student course counselling for 2026 Year 11 students and early access VCE students is running from 9 am – 1.30 pm. Please book in on Compass. If you can’t make these times please reach out to the relevant teachers to organise an alternative.
If you haven’t bought your tickets for our amazing School Production on Friday and Saturday night, make sure you don’t miss out. If This Couch Could Talk promises to be an incredible show, highlighting the musical and acting talents of our dedicated students and staff. I don’t know of any other school that creates an original production for their school community, including script and musical scores. It is a testament to the dedication and talent of our Performing Arts Team of Liesl Reymers and Rosie Handley, ably supported by Rhiannen John and Izzy Kennedy and our cast of wonderful student performers, band and back stage crew.
