Youthrive Workshops at KSC – Preparing for Life After Year 12

On Monday 18th, KSC was pleased to welcome Youthrive Victoria to run a series of practical and insightful workshops for our senior students. The sessions focused on key life skills to help students transition confidently beyond secondary school.

The workshops covered a range of important topics, including:

• Understanding Centrelink – navigating government support services

• Moving Out – what to consider when living independently

• Workforce Readiness – preparing for employment after school

• Managing Your Finances – budgeting and making smart financial choices

   

These sessions are part of Youthrive’s broader mission to support young people as they move into adulthood. With graduation on the horizon, these workshops provided timely and valuable advice that students can carry with them well beyond Year 12.
