3/4 Camp Visit

On Tuesday I had the absolute joy of visiting our Grade 3 and 4 students at the Phillip Island Adventure Camp – and what a special experience it was!

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this group of students had created something truly special together. There was laughter, encouragement, and an overwhelming sense of camaraderie in the air. I was especially struck by the Compassion every student showed; looking out for one another, offering words of support, and celebrating each other’s efforts.

One standout moment was watching students tackle the Circotron – a spinning challenge that tested everyone's nerves! What made it so memorable wasn’t just the dizzy fun (and there was plenty of that!) but the Courage so many students displayed. Some who were hesitant at first found the bravery to give it a go, cheered on by their friends. The joy on their faces afterwards said it all!

A heartfelt thank you goes to our amazing parent volunteers, Chris and Erlina, for taking time out of their week to support our students and join in the adventure. Your presence made a real difference.

To our incredible staff, thank you for the thought, planning and care that went into making this camp such a success. From participating in activities to comforting students through homesickness, you each played a vital role in creating memories and life learning opportunities our students will carry with them for years to come.

We are so proud of our brave, kind and curious campers – thank you for showing us what school spirit really looks like!
