Junior School Concert

Hi Parents/Guardians,

When –Tuesday 16th September (last Tuesday of this term)

Where – TBC – Either at the Pavilion or in the school gym (weather dependent)

Time – 2pm

Students will perform to a live cohort of kids and parents! Also, if you can’t make it to the live show, you are invited to watch via the live stream or will be able to purchase a link to watch it at a more convenient time. Parents who are coming in to watch live please bring a camping chair!

If you have a senior school child and you have already purchased it, you do not have to buy it again. You will be sent an updated link with both concert on it!

Your efforts for costumes in the past have been awesome! I’m going to ask again for the same participation and co-operation. One thing though… PLEASE don’t spend too much money!! Op shops and markets are fantastic options.

Please ask the kids to wear something a little bit special, like party clothes I guess. No sports uniforms or outfits etc (for example if your child’s colours are black and red, I don’t want to see any red Cobras jumpers or footy socks please!). Also, no big logos please! I want them looking like the rock stars they are!

On the day, light make up is optional but recommended. Because the performance is being filmed, light make up will prevent your child looking washed out on stage. Light bronzer, mascara and coloured lip gloss would be sufficient.

The Foundation -Year 2 kids have been so pumped for the concert, they are going to shine on that stage. They’ve chosen the songs, costumes and helped choreograph the dances. It’s all them!

Concert Costume List

FAW	Bright, sparkly clothes. Think High 5
FJC	Bohemian/hippie/spiritual…. (take inspiration from Xavier Rudd/John Butler/Janis Joplin)
FMH	Black pants/skirt with black leggings, white shirt/tshirt, black tie/bowtie
1JE	Sunnies, black jeans, black tshirt
1MM	Hip hop look – eg – cap, baggy jeans, big tshirt or basketball jersey, gold chain
1GL	Bright blue and white… choose your combo of clothes!
1LP	First Row – palm trees… brown bottoms, green tops Second Row – Sand… All yellow Back Row – Ocean… All blue and green
2MS	Black and red – choose a funky combo of clothes
2KT	Black pants/shorts and a bright tye dye top
2EG	Cowboys and cowgirls – Denim, flannelette and boots (if you have them!)
2JR	Hip Hop look – light coloured baggy pants and a black or white tshirt, runners

Sparkles and glitter? Yes! Make up and nail polish? Yes!

Hair Styled? Yes! Please no big logos or trackies or sports wear!
