Dear Parents and Carers,
As we move into Week 9 of Term 1, the energy and momentum within our school continue to be strong. Witnessing the ongoing learning and engagement across all year levels here at Sacred Heart School is inspiring. There's a real buzz in the classrooms and around the school grounds as students immerse themselves in their learning.
Last Saturday, I witnessed how a little school can achieve great things when we work together as a community. Sacred Heart School ran a Market Stall at the local Boggabri Show N Shine community event. Our PTF organised this fundraising opportunity, and volunteers from our school worked hard on the day selling delicious baked treats, slushies, fresh cinnamon donuts and tickets for our Mother's Day Raffle. Our Year 6 leaders also volunteered on the day and will share some of the takings that will go towards their Year 6 fundraising to purchase a farewell gift for Sacred Heart. A huge heartfelt thank you to our amazing school community for making the baked goods stall such a success! From the talented bakers who filled our tables with delightful goodies to the eager customers who snapped them up, your participation made it an enjoyable and successful event. We raised a total of $951.50, and we genuinely appreciate everyone's effort.
Looking ahead to the final weeks, we have some exciting events planned, including our school Cross Country, Gunnedah Show art display, Holy Week Liturgy, and Easter Hat Parade. Please keep an eye on the next school newsletter, Compass and Facebook for more detailed information about these events.
As we approach the end of Term 1, let us continue to work together to support our students in their learning and growth, both academically and spiritually. I look forward to the many positive experiences the coming weeks will bring.
Wishing everyone a productive and rewarding Week 9!
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.
Warm regards,
Claire Ryan
