Community Network

The members of the Community Network met again this morning. We were so pleased to see that our network is increasing. A photo was taken of some of our members. (The photo is a little bit blurry, a bit too much sunlight, but it was a celebration.)

Today we talked about the event the Community Network planned last Friday. Over 30 parents attended the 'Sip and Chat' afternoon tea. It was a great opportunity to meet new people and to meet fellow parents of children in the same grade level. The three Principals were in attendance and we had speeches from current Community Networks, the Principals and EAL Teacher Dianna Fuller.  We would like to thank everyone for attending, and our special network of volunteers who supplied some amazing treats for everyone. 

We also discussed the upcoming events, such as: Harmony Day, Colour Run and Hot Cross Bun Day which the community will be hearing about soon. We also discussed some ideas for new events for the school.
