Then and Now
During this unit students will investigate how life has changed over time.
By exploring images and artefacts from the past, participating in activities that examine past and present and through quality discussions, students will learn how life has changed over time. They will explore the differences in family structures and family roles and how these have changed over time. Students will examine the changes between aspects of their daily lives in comparison to their parents and grandparents childhoods. They'll explore methods of communication, toys, school and daily life see how these have changed from past to present.
Students will get to experience the 'olden days' with a visit to Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead in Wandin North.
