Opus 1 Concert - tonight!
Opus 1 is being held tonight at 6:00pm at our Assembly Hall. The night will feature Avanti, Campo delle Voci, Faure Flutes, Middle School String Quartet, Symphonic Winds, Viotti Strings, Vivo Strings.
SOLD OUT Mother’s Day Breakfast - tomorrow!
We’re excited to announce that the Piccolo Choir will be performing at tomorrow's Mother’s Day Breakfast. For updates and further details, please subscribe to the Piccolo Choir via the Culture tab on the College App.
This is a friendly reminder that our Mother's Day Breakfast is on tomorrow! We are looking forward to welcoming you for this special celebration.
Please note that due to forecasted rain, the event will now be held indoors at the following location:
Clayfield College Physical Education Centre | 633 Sandgate Road, Clayfield
PARKING
Street parking is available around the College. Limited additional parking is also available on the vacant block at the corner of Sandgate Road and London Road. Our staff will be on-site to assist and direct guests.

Please note that due to the Mother's Day breakfast being hosted in the PE Centre on Friday 9 May, there will be no breakfast items available to be ordered via Flexischools on this day. Thank you for your understanding.
Assembly Performance
We were delighted to enjoy a piano performance by Year 7 student Brandon Ng during our Secondary assembly on Tuesday. Brandon, who also took part in this year’s Musicfest, studies both piano and violin at the College. He is a member of Paganini Strings, the Middle School String Quartet, and the Ragazzi boys' choir. Brandon is a valued member of our music community, and we’re proud to celebrate his talent and dedication.
Arts Day
We will be offering a variety of workshops throughout the day, including:
- Musical theatre
- Spanish dancing
- Chinese activities
- Yoga
- Stage combat
- Stage makeup
- Theatre sports
- Visual arts
Students will have an opportunity to register for workshops of their choice in the upcoming weeks.
Musical

Opus 2
Opus 2 is on Wednesday 14 May at 6:00pm. The night will feature Allegria Chamber Strings, Big Band, Canzona, Ciao Bella, Corelli Strings, Paganini Strings, Piccolo Choir, Wind Orchestra.
Uniform Requirements
- Primary musicians: Formal school uniform (no hats)
- Secondary musicians in Avanti: Formal school uniform
- All other Secondary musicians: Music Performance Uniform (available from the College Shop) including the additional items:
- Girls: Black stockings, black court shoes or ballet flats, and a gold hair ribbon (available at the College Shop)
- Boys: Black trousers, black socks, and polished black shoes. If a black long-sleeved dress shirt is unavailable from the College Shop, a plain alternative may be worn.

Luminous Lunch
Clayfield College is proud to showcase the talents of our Middle School String Quartet and Georgia Johnston at the upcoming Luminous Lunch on Friday 16 May. This special event will take place at the Calile Hotel on James Street.
