Year 5 Entrepreneurship Program
This week, we launched an exciting entrepreneurship program for our Year 5 students! Each week, they will have the opportunity to explore their entrepreneurial potential, ignite their creativity, and bring their ideas to life. In our first lesson, we delved into the concept of entrepreneurship, discussing what it means to be an entrepreneur and the essential enterprise skills needed to start a business.
To encourage innovative thinking, students played engaging games, repurposing everyday items in new ways and generating creative ideas for 30 different circles. How many unique ideas could you come up with?
We can't wait to see our young entrepreneurs develop their ideas and turn them into reality this year!
Under 8s Day activities on Friday 16 May
Our Pre-Prep to Year 3 students look forward to exploring their scientific thinking through play during school on Friday 16 May in lessons 1 and 2. Our teachers and support staff have prepared a wonderful selection of play activities for the morning and look forward to sharing photos on Class Dojo afterwards. Students are invited to come to school in their HPE uniforms for the day.
Early Years Wellbeing Program
This year in Pre-Prep we are partnering with The Resilience Project (TRP) to deliver their 2025 Early Years Wellbeing Program. The program provides practical, evidence-based, positive mental health strategies to build resilience and happiness through promoting four key practices: gratitude, empathy, mindfulness and emotional literacy (GEM).
The children will welcome Cozy Koala into their centre, who will take turns to go home with them and help their families engage in GEM activities together. We look forward to sharing more about the program as the year progresses.
