The following targeted meets and events are coming up soon for swimmers in the Junior streams (Novice, Purple, Bronze, Silver, Gold):
June 1 Ballarat Gold Short Course Meet @ Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Center
RSC is organizing a team bus trip for this meet! Swimmers will travel on a bus together with 2 coaches and 2 parent team managers.
Goal: To offer a team trip/meet in a new location/pool to give swimmers experience racing in an unfamiliar environment. The trip will also be an opportunity for a team building event, with swimmers being responsible for eating, drinking, racing, etc. The main goal is fun! Bus trips are regularly the highlight of the season! Parents are welcome to come and watch the meet, however they will have to make their own way there and back.
Who: Swimmers in any squad who are 10 years of age or older can purchase a ticket to travel on the bus. Swimmers should be independent and have some experience participating in a swim meet. If your swimmer is younger and new to competition, but would like to attend - any tickets still available on Trybooking from Monday, May 19th will be opened up for purchase for both parents and swimmers. This means a parent can travel on the bus together with their swimmer to offer additional support.
Swimmers who would like to enter but not travel on the bus are also very welcome to attend the meet - you can meet the team in Ballarat.
