OLIVES and Thank you, Filippou family!

Would you like to know where the most delicious olives in the world are? Well, besides the Filippou household, they are at Holy Family! A few weeks ago, you will remember that we advertised olives available for families who would like to take the olives that were literally falling off our tree. The Filippou family claimed the olives and have spent time crushing, salting and infusing them with garlic and herbs. And I must say, they are some of the most delicious olives I have had! The Filippou family kindly dropped off a container of olives for the staff to enjoy and they are very much appreciated. Thank you so much and we are so glad you were able to utilise and enjoy them, as well as make some for us. Our olive tree is quite incredible as the olives are huge and so tender. We will look forward to more delicious fruit next year.

Next week, we hope to plant some carrots and other veggies as well as get our other garden beds ready for Spring planting. Please come along if you are able to and would like to. It’s always fun in the garden!
