New - Mitch Tambo Visit
We look forward to having Mitch Tambo visit St Mary’s in Term 2. Mitch Tambo is an Australian singer, songwriter and political activist, who self-released his debut album in 2016. In 2019, he reached the final of Australia’s Got Talent and gained national attention. In November 2019, Tambo was signed to Sony Music Australia. He is a Gamilaraay and Birri Gubba man who now lives in Melbourne.
He brings culture, vibrancy and electric energy to his performances. He performs uplifting dance anthems like “Heal” and “Yugal-Yulu-gi”. Mitch shares the Gamilaraay language with contemporary beats and sounds.
He will perform in the Marian Centre on Wednesday 14th of May at 2 pm. Parents are welcome to attend.

Week 11 - Monday 30th June - Friday 4th July - NAIDOC Week (usually falls during the school holidays July 6th – 13th July) but we will celebrate early.

At St Mary’s Primary School Mooroopna we Acknowledge the Traditional people of this land. The Yorta Yorta Nation are the Traditional Custodians of this area and we remember their elders, past, present and future. We remember that the Aboriginal people of Australia will always be the traditional owners of the land on which we gather today. We continue to grow through education and reconciliation to a better future for all Australians.
