Teaching and Learning report

It has been a busy start to the term with students revisiting classroom expectations and routines to support a smooth transition back to school. All students have been learning about ANZAC Day. Researching the history and significance of this day in Reading. In Writing, students have been drafting a letter to a soldier or nurse. Students have focused on including ANZAC specific vocab they have encountered and including the historical context of WW1. Some of these letters have been delivered to the local army barracks. 

Literacy & Numeracy Challenges 

We are excited to introduce our new Literacy and Numeracy challenges, Bookworms and Number Ninjas. These challenges will appear in each edition of the newsletter and are an opportunity for students and their families to complete activities for a chance o win a prize. Entries can be placed in the Bookworms and Number Ninjas mailbox at the front office. Award winners will be announced during each Assembly. Good luck!
