Book Week

This year, schools and libraries all across Australia are celebrating an exciting theme: "Symphony of Stories". Just like an orchestra brings together violins, drums, flutes, and trumpets to play a beautiful piece of music, a library brings together millions of different tales, characters, and ideas. Every single book on a shelf has its own unique tunesome are fast-paced and thrilling, others are quiet and thoughtful, and many are full of laughter. When we read them, all those different voices combine into one big, incredible harmony.
Our Book Week parade was filled with color, creativity and imagination. Students and staff brought their favorite characters to life during our Book Week Parade
We were thrilled to welcome our visiting preschool friends from Ooranga and Nurraby Preschool , who joined right in on the parade excitement and brightened our school community.
After parading under the COLA, our preschool visitors enjoyed hearing a story from Mrs Franklin and then enjoyed some craft followed by a playground visit. We were very happy to see the sun shining.
A huge thank you to everyone who put so much effort into costumes and to the families who made it to cheer on thier children. It is always a wonderful sight seeing our school community come together.
