K-2 Music
Our K-2 students are putting theory into practice with the new keyboard! Building on their knowledge of C Major from last term, students are now creating their own compositions while experimenting with musical elements like tempo, pitch, and dynamics. They are also having a terrific time exploring keyboard features like the metronome, backing tracks, and different instrument sounds (such as harpsichord and organ). Along the way, they've been learning proper technique, such as hand positioning and posture. It has been wonderful to see their creativity flourish!
Yr 3-6 Maths 2D shapes
Year 3–6 students have been learning about 2D shapes. To put their mathematical learning into practice, students took on the creative challenge of designing their own tessellating shape patterns.
A tessellation occurs when a repeating pattern of shapes covers a surface without any gaps or overlaps.
Whole School Art - Grandparent's Day
Students poured their hearts into special creations for Grandparents Day! They painted thoughtful, colourful portraits of their grandparents and created lovely handprint cards as keepsake gifts. They were so excited to celebrate and share these meaningful artworks with their loved ones!
