Year 5/6 Camp

The 5/6 children were asked to comment on the camp from last week.
Jessie - The camp was set in the 1850’s which I loved.
Athia - The camp hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Elisha - I really enjoyed the Aura show that we saw on the second night.
Naomi - Camp was amazing, I love our cabins and sharing with my friends.
Charlotte - The Aura show was absolutely amazing!
Jessica - The food was delicious and my favourite was the bangers and mash from night one.
Evana - It was really fun to be with everyone and I loved how creative Sovereign Hill was.
Rapha - Sovereign Hill was really fun and I loved the playground.
Mason - Camp was great because the food was great.
Mikkel - I really liked sharing a room with my friends.
Rastin - At camp I liked the Aura presentation because it was entertaining.
Thinu - I liked camp because of how much fun we all had together and all the memories we made.
Aaron - My favorite part of camp was when we went to see Aura because it was really cool and I learned a lot.
William - My favorite part of camp was gold panning and finding some gold!!
Olivia - My favorite part of Aura because it was a fantastic story.
Ivanka - I liked camp because we got to eat lots of candy and stay up late at night.
Sophie - I loved camp because I got to go on Main Street when all the public had left and it was very quiet.
Renee - My favourite part of going on camp was going to the mines - I liked it because I had the experience just like the miners did.
David F - I loved being able to pan for gold.
Yinuo - I loved the raspberry drops!
Mikayla - I really loved watching the confectionary being made and then we got to taste it too!! Yum!
David Fan - I really enjoyed the Aura section that involved the retelling of the Gold Rush.
Vihaan - I liked the sour grape drops (candy) because they were very sour and I liked that we could go shopping.
Alvin - I loved camp because we had the chance to find gold!
Brian - When we ate lunch, we went to the lake and saw a lot of ducks (which I love).
David D - I loved camp because we went on many adventures like going down deep into the Red Hill mine.
Tony - The raspberry drops were yummy and I loved that it was an outdoor museum that we could see and experience.
Allen - I loved camp because of the candy and seeing how it was made!
James - The food was great and I loved gold panning because we could find actual gold.
