I have resumed my position as Deputy Principal for Year 11 and it has been great getting to know the students. I am excited to work with the students and their families to assist our young people to get the most out of time at Wyndham College.

Year 11 is a significant milestone in your educational journey, and we are thrilled to have you join our vibrant school community.

Year 11 marks the beginning of your senior studies and is a fantastic opportunity for personal and academic growth. Throughout the year, you will engage in challenging and enriching coursework that will prepare you for your final year and beyond. Our dedicated teachers are here to support you every step of the way, ensuring you have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.

We encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities available to you—get involved in extracurricular activities, form study groups, and participate in school events. Building connections with your peers and teachers will enhance your experience and help you feel at home in our school.

As you settle into Year 11, remember that challenges are part of the learning process. Embrace them with a positive mindset, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support when needed. Together, we can create a year filled with achievements, growth, and unforgettable memories.

In week 7, parents will be sent a mid-term attendance report. This will identify not just the attendance in Connect (roll call), but also the attendance rates in each class. Attendance is vitally important for academic success, and all students are encouraged to aim for an attendance rate of over 90% in each class.

In week 8, parents will be able to access the Year 11 Interim Report for their child via the Sentral Parent Portal. If you have trouble accessing this, please contact our friendly office staff who can assist you with access.

I look forward to working with each of you to support academic success in 2025.
