The College is delighted to welcome many new staff members this year! It has been wonderful getting to know them and seeing them become part of our community. Throughout the term, we’ll be introducing them to you!

Mrs Bronwyn Visser - Student Learning Support Officer (SLSO)

I am Bronwyn Visser. In April 2024, my family and I moved from South Africa to Australia. I have two young boys - One in Year 1 and the other in Preschool at Wagga Wagga Christian College. We are a Christian family attending Together Church, where we are blessed to grow in faith and community.

I currently work as a Student Learning Support Officer (SLSO) in Kindergarten.  I hold a degree in Psychology and have a deep passion for working with children, and supporting their developmental growth. I am also pursuing a bachelor's degree in education to further my journey in this field.

I am truly grateful for this path that the Lord has set before me and I look forward to seeing His plans unfold for the rest of 2025.

Miss Kirsten Ingram - Secondary School Teacher

Hello, my name is Kirsten Ingram and I am a new secondary teacher here at the College. You may have seen my face pop up before as I completed a university practicum here in 2022, and I was also a student here. I loved the atmosphere at the College as a student, where I was always supported and encouraged by my teachers. I am now excited to experience the College as a teacher, offering my support and encouragement to my students.

My interests include reading, completing jigsaw puzzles, spending time with my family, attending church at the Wagga Evangelical Church, and going for walks.

Mrs Rebecca Foster - Primary School Teacher

My role is teaching the Year 4 students. I have been teaching since 1998 when I first graduated with a teaching degree at the University of Queensland. I also studied a Master of Teaching (Primary) at Excelsia College, graduating in 2014/15. I am so blessed to be at this school.

I have worked in various churches and was previously studying to be a minister through St Marks Theological College/CSU and teaching scripture at Tumbarumba Public School in 2024. I was also teaching a Year 3/4 class 4 days a week in 2024 at Corryong College, just over the border in Victoria.

I attend St Judes Anglican Church in Tumbarumba and I plan to move to Wagga Wagga soon. In my spare time, you can see me at the Art Gallery or performing every few years with SOACT, a Wagga Wagga theatre group. I have two small dogs, a Schnoodle and a mini-Schnauzer named Winston and Kiah respectively, a tabby cat named Cordelia, and two chickens. I love reading, writing and teaching.

I feel very blessed to work in a Christian environment after teaching in the secular space for over 20 years. I had been considering becoming a nun or living in an isolated intentional Christian community but believe that God is calling me here to this school in Wagga Wagga. I have previously worked at Newtown Mission (Sydney) and Turramurra Uniting Church, where both roles included community connections and children's ministry.

I am looking forward to connecting with you in 2025 and beyond!
