Glen Eira College provides instrumental music lessons in a wide range of instruments. All instrumental lessons are conducted during school-time and lessons are scheduled so that students do not miss the same timetabled class each week. Students usually learn in groups with others of a similar standard (with the exception of Piano students, who have had at least 2 years of previous experience on the instrument and receive individual lessons).

The College has a fantastic team of highly experienced instrumental music teachers and offers specialist teaching from beginners to advanced levels in the following areas:

Woodwind: flute, clarinet, alto/tenor saxophone 

Guitar: acoustic guitar and bass guitar

Percussion: drums

Voice: contemporary, musical theatre and jazz

Piano: piano and keyboard
