RSC Encouragement Meet- 16th Feb 2025 @ Aquanation
Our RSC Encouragement Meet is right around the corner! We can't wait to see all of our junior swimmers there, racing in our home pool! Entries are closing soon on Tuesday, Feb 11th at 10am so be sure to get those entries in!
With school swimming coming up, this is a great, supportive and low pressure meet to get some race practice in. This meet is specifically for our junior squad swimmers - that's Novice, Blue, Bronze, Silver and Gold!
An Encouragement meet is for those swimmers who are new to competing and for those who are still gaining experience. Being an Encouragement Meet, we will have officials on the day, but they will not be disqualifying for incorrect strokes/technique etc., they will simply offer feedback to your coach on things you could improve upon. A super relaxed and fun way of getting into the sport of swimming!
As the rules are not strictly enforced at Encouragement meets, times swum will not show up on the results database, but there will be ribbons on offer for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for all age groups, and participation ribbons for all swimmers 10 and under.
All swimmers in squads Novice, Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold should be entering this meet. Swimmers in Platinum, Platinum Junior Talent, State Target and Junior State should chat to their coach to see if this would be a good meet for them. State Performance and National Target, this one is not for you.
Please support our club and make sure to get your entries in soon. This meet is usually very popular with school swimming happening in Feb and March. It's a great event with a relaxed, fun atmosphere and is a great one to participate in, so don't miss out!
