Dear Parents and Friends,
Welcome back to Term 1 of 2025! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas, a happy and festive New Year, and a fantastic school holiday.
I'd like to remind everyone about the upcoming Senior School Ice Breaker event this Friday 14 February, 6-9pm. You should all have received an email or text message from the school about this. Bookings are still open and it should be a fabulous evening at Borrodell Estate with live music, drinks and canapes included in your $60 ticket. It is a spectacular location and will be a such a fun night - we hope to see you there.

The Junior School Icebreaker event is coming up in a couple of weeks in the same location. BOOK HERE to attend.
I would also love to invite you all to attend our P&F meetings. I just want to let you know that everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend (everyone from Pre-Kinder to Year 12). We only have two meetings a term, and it's a great way to be involved with the school and informed of all that is happening throughout each term and the whole year.
Our first P&F meeting for 2025 will be on Wednesday 12 March at 6:00pm in theWolaroi Mansion Boardroom. Again, you are all welcome in person, but if you are unable to attend, a Zoom link is available. All welcome!
We are also looking for parents to be year group representatives. This can be one, two, or three people, and the idea is that someone is available to pass on information to your child's year group and be involved in planning and organising activities or fundraising events during the year. Please email Harriet Alker in the Engagement & Marketing Office if you would like to be involved at: halker@kws.nsw.edu.au. Harriet can also arrange for you to have a chat with one of our committee members if you would like more information before making a commitment.

The school swimming carnival was again a fantastic day and a credit to the school and all students in Years 7 to 12. It was a fun and inclusive day, and from what I witnessed, the students seemed to be having a great day. Go, Gordon!
