Co-Curricular Ensembles 2025

Participating in a performing arts ensemble has many benefits for children, including developing social skills, building confidence and learning how to be a team player.  Learning music helps cognitive development, improves recall and retention of verbal information, and advances Mathematics and English skills.  Dancing can also significantly improve physical, psychological and cognitive outcomes. Aside from this, participating in one of our ensembles is fun!

Dance Ensembles

This year, we are excited to offer three dance groups at KWS Junior School. Jitterbugs is for Year 1 and 2 students; Upbeats is for Year 3 and 4 students and Fusion Beat is for Year 5 and 6 students. This program provides a wonderful opportunity for students to develop their skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of performance.

We look forward to seeing your child flourish through the joy of dance! Any questions, please email Mrs Chapman at lchapman@kws.nsw.edu.au
