Prefect's Update

Dear Kinross Wolaroi families,
We've had an exciting start to the year, with our swimming carnival setting the tone! It was fantastic to see students of all ages and abilities diving into the races and showing great team spirit as they cheered on their respective houses. While it was a hard-fought competition, the teachers emerged victorious in the student-teacher relay – much to the delight (and playful disappointment) of the students! The event generated plenty of excitement and, we hope, ignited a spark of motivation as we look forward to the upcoming sports carnivals. Let the friendly competition continue!
The first week of high school has come to a close for our new Year 7 students, and we hope they are feeling warmly welcomed not only by our dedicated teachers but also by their fellow students. The start of the year brings with it a world of new adventures and possibilities for all Kinross Wolaroi students, with school musical, “Aladdin”, auditions just over a week away! We're thrilled to see the enthusiasm and talent that will surely shine through and encourage every student to seize the opportunity to get involved. At Kinross Wolaroi, we foster an environment rich in opportunities, and we can't wait to see everyone make the most of them!
We are eagerly anticipating our first Kinross Wolaroi Gatho of 2025 next Friday! It's the perfect opportunity to introduce our Year 7 students to the vibrant KWS culture and showcase all the exciting activities that make our school community so special. We can’t wait to come together and celebrate the spirit of Kinross Wolaroi!
Kind regards,
Xanthe and Ollie
