Open night was a great success in the Library with many prospective students visiting to
explore our great collection and facilities.
A huge thanks to Year 11 Platinum student Library advocates who assisted on the evening with handing out brochures, bookmarks and merchandise to families. These students also presented Library tours together with lots of information about our Library services and programs.
In May, we celebrated the incredible mothers, grandmothers and mother figures in our lives with a beautiful Mother's Day display showcasing mothers throughout history to pay tribute to their nurturing spirit. From touching memoirs to inspiring fiction, students had the opportunity to explore a diverse collection of books celebrating motherhood.
Our library transformed into a runway of style during Australian Fashion Week. To promote this cultural extravaganza the library hosted a special fashion display featuring books on fashion history, design and the flourishing Australian fashion industry.
From iconic Australian designers to emerging talents, students immersed themselves in the world of haute couture and ready-to-wear. The display not only highlighted the creativity and innovation in Australian fashion but also encouraged students to explore the intersection of art, culture and self-expression.
We look forward to more exciting events lined up at our library. From Mindful May activities to Historical Investigation workshops, there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy. Whether you're seeking inspiration, knowledge, or simply a cozy corner to immerse yourself in a good book, remember that our library is more than just shelves of books—it's a gateway to endless creativity, information and culture.
