Day of Immunology at UNSW
The Museum of Human Disease and the Australian & New Zealand Society for Immunology presented a special one-off program for Year 12 Biology students on Friday 10th May for the Day of Immunology. This special event showed students real world examples of immunology research as well as giving them an insight into careers pathways in immunology and biology/science research.
A wide range of researchers also talked about their career history and what they’re researching as well as Q&A sessions and opportunities for students to chat with these leading scientists and find out more about the research world. Students also had another chance to visit the Human Disease Museum.
HSC Marine Studies Excursion to the Aquarium
On Friday 10th May, our Year 11& 12 HSC Marine Studies students embarked on an interesting excursion to the aquarium, immersing themselves in the wonders of marine life first-hand. From colourful coral reefs to majestic ocean predators our students explored, learned and were inspired by the incredible biodiversity of our oceans.
