We are halfway to the HSC - exciting and busy times are ahead as students and teachers move into the final 2 terms of the HSC and of formal schooling.

The HSC Timetable is now available

Students can view their personalised timetables in Students Online. If students are yet to set up their NESA Schools Online account - please make sure they come to the office to see me for assistance. An easy to follow guide is on my door.

Things to note:

  • If your NESA number is incorrect on your student ID card - see me.
  • If your HSC exam timetable is NOT correct for the courses you have changed and are currently enrolled in  - don't panic. These changes are still being updated. Your NESA HSC timetable will automatically update in Students Online whenever any changes/updates are made.
  • A copy of the full HSC exam timetable can be seen in this link below to the 2024 HSC exam homepage. Scroll down the page to use the search function to see what date and time your exam is for each subject.

Semester 1 Year 12 Reports

Reports are now available on the Sentral Parent Portal and have been emailed to parents. Please take the time to read and discuss these with your child and take note of suggestions and advice provided by teachers to support improvement as we move closer to the HSC.

I would like to acknowledge the many students whose report highlights their diligence, application and effort. Congratulations. It was an absolute thrill to read these reports that recognise the hard work of many students.

To complement the distribution of the report, Year 12 Parent Teacher interviews are being held Wednesday May 22 from 4pm-7pm. Booking are now open, again through the Sentral Parent Portal. If you are unable to access this, please contact the school for assistance.

Academic Review interviews will run over Week 3 and 4

Students involved have been sent an email stating day, time and other information. During Week 2 those who had been asked to attend a meeting were given the opportunity to remove the need to attend an Academic Review by -

  • seeing Kellie/ class teachers to confirm what N letters are outstanding.
  • attend ACE after school tutor support in the library with Wyndham teachers from 3pm Tuesday and 12.50pm Friday every week to complete outstanding tasks/work.
  • complete and submit outstanding tasks here an N letter has been given.
  • ensure completed and submitted work relating to N letters, and that have satisfactorily been redeemed, have been entered as 'resolved' in Sentral by your class teacher.

These steps to redeem and resolve letters or just to access help and support when and as needed are available any time.

Parents whose child is required to attend an Academic Review have been emailed an invitation to attend. However, any parent is invited to contact me at any time to discuss their child's progress.

Open Night Volunteers

Finally, I would like to thank and acknowledge the many, almost 100 students,  who gave up their time and volunteered to assist in some way on Open Night and promote our school. These efforts will be formally recognised with a certificate in the near future. The Wyndham College school community thanks you all for a mighty effort and a hugely successful event .
