OSHC at Marion

At Marion OSHC we are committed to providing quality learning opportunities, delivered in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. During OSHC this term we will be focusing on Japanese culture. This will include food, art, craft, language and customs.

Our goal for this term is REMEMBER to talk to a staff member if you need help.

The April Vacation Care program was very popular. The children really enjoyed the visit from Adelaide Snake catchers. Pete explained about how to look after yourself around snakes and he also brought in some of his pythons and lizards for the children to interact and learn about.

Nitro Nat was a huge hit with her liquid nitrogen science show and the pedal cart day was so exciting that the children would like to do them again.

Harry Potter Day was very busy with wand making, pin the scar on Harry game, fruit stick wand making, House sorting, the imaginary train trip from platform 9 and three quarters and the Harry Potter fashion parade.

Secret Agent Day was just as popular with spy ID making to scan in and out of the OSHC room, the hidden clue game, invisible secret messages and a secret code raffle.

Parents are welcome to offer suggestions for programming ideas and to participate on our OSHC committee which meets twice a term. Being a member of this committee gives families the opportunity to have even more input into the program and if anyone is interested in becoming involved, please come and talk to Guy or myself.
