NEWS AROUND THE SCHOOL

Beginning Thursday 18th April our SRC leaders will be visiting each classroom to sell ANZAC day items to fundraise for the Highett RSL. 

These items include pens, badges and wrist bands. All items are under $5. 

Please remember to bring in cash if you would like to support the Highett RSL by purchasing an ANZAC day item.

MEDICATION UPDATES/SICK BAY

If your child has visited sickbay, all details will be visible via Compass on your child's Compass Dashboard/Profile. You may at times receive a text that your child has had a head injury. 

Please note that if the incident is more serious, we will contact you immediately via phone, we will never send a text or an email.  Thank you.

If your child has borrowed clothing in an emergency, please ensure that the items had been laundered and returned to the school office.

All medication to be distributed during school hours must have a completed medical form - see attachment below.

LOST PROPERTY

Please ensure that you label everything that your child brings to school. Lunchboxes, drink bottles and all clothing need to be clearly labelled.  Lost property tubs are located in the breezeway opposite the toilets. 

STUDENT APPOINTMENTS/ ARRIVAL DEPARTURE NOTES

If your child has an appointment and is arriving late, or departing early, or has on going appointment during the term, please email to moorabbin.ps@education.vic.gov.au 

When your child is leaving early, please wait at the school office. Office staff will call your child's classroom/exit your child, and then your child will be brought to the office with a classroom monitor, so as to minimise disruptions.

CHESS CLUB - TERM 2

Here are the Term 2 dates for Wednesday lunchtime classes.

24/4, 1/5, 8/5, 15/5, 22/5, 29/5, 5/6, 12/6, 19/6 and the 26/6, with a cost of $10 per class per student making the fees total to $100 per student for the term.
