GOAL/House Activities

GOAL Year Level Assemblies

Year level assemblies were held this week during GOAL with some fun competitions/challenges at the end!

Year 7 - Balloon Popping Contest

Two representatives per house competed to pop six balloons as quickly as possible by sitting on them. The two representatives alternated turns after each balloon was popped!

Year 11 - Ping Pong Challenge

Working in groups, students paired up and volleyed a ping pong ball back and forth to each other, aiming to land it in a bucket located 5 metres in front of them. If the ball hit the ground, the pair had to pass the bat and ball to the next pair in line. The first group to successfully get 5 balls in their buckets won the challenge!

GOAL House Assemblies - Waratah: Donuts on a String Challenge!

Last week during GOAL, excitement filled the air at Waratah House Assembly as students eagerly took on the 'Donuts on a String' challenge! Laughter and cheers echoed throughout the Resource Centre as our students enthusiastically participated. The rules were simple but entertaining: students had to devour an entire doughnut without using their hands, all while ensuring it didn't slip off the string. It was a test of skill, balance and determination, and above all, a lot of fun!
