Welcome to the New School Year!

Dear Students, Families, and Staff,

Welcome to a brand-new school year! We hope you had a wonderful break and are ready for an exciting year of learning, growth, and new opportunities. We are thrilled to have everyone back and look forward to working together to make this year a great success.

Starting the new school year positively means being at school every day and arriving on time in the morning. The school gate opens at 8:45am and students can go into classrooms when the music begins at 8:50am. Please make sure that your child is on time to start the day with all students so that they connect with friends and so they do not miss out on any learning. 

Welcome

Welcome to all our new students and their families. We are looking forward to getting to know you. I would also like to welcome and introduce 4 new staff.

Ms. Thompson who is the classroom teacher for 3B.

Joshua Fielding – Assistant Principal 

His major areas of responsibility include coordinating the junior classes (Foundation to Year 3), leading whole school curriculum and assessment and reporting.

Ashwini Mana Mohan – Wellbeing Leader

Her major areas of responsibility include disability inclusion and mental health and wellbeing.

Margaret White who is a member of our Education Support Staff working with students with additional needs.

Lunar New Year

As we begin, we also take a moment to celebrate the Lunar New Year. This special occasion is a time for renewal, joy, and connection with family and friends. We wish all those celebrating a Happy Lunar New Year—may this year bring happiness, prosperity, and good health to you and your loved ones!

Kelly Club – Before and After School Care

The new provider for Before and After School Care has started. There is new equipment, furniture and activities for students to experience. If you have not yet enrolled in Kelly Club, you can do this online. If you need help, please contact the office on 9363 3519.

Canteen

I know that many parents and students will be excited to know that they are now able to order lunch from a virtual canteen. They are not onsite, but you can order and pay online, and they will deliver to school. Read more about Classroom Cuisine in Ms. Scott’s Assistant Principal newsletter. 

Assembly

Assembly is at 2:45pm each Friday. Parents are welcome to attend. This Friday we will be presenting our school and sports captains with their badges so we hope that you can attend to acknowledge these leaders.
