Welcome to 2025! Term 1 is going to be very busy in the library!

• Can Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students bring a library bag from home (Prep students could use the Calico Bag they received last year at Transition ). 

  Library bags need to be clearly labelled with your child’s name and grade. Please note that if students do not bring a library bag to school then they will not be able to borrow a book to take home.

• Borrowing should be up and running for all students from Year 1 to Year 6 next week. The Prep students will beginning borrowing in March, once they are at school 5 days a week.

• Coincidentally, this term in Library lessons all authors being discussed with students are from England. The Prep students will be looking at the popular “Mr Men” and “Little Miss” books by authors Roger and Adam Hargreaves, while the Year 1s are focusing on books by David McKee. The Year 2s will be discussing books by Anthony Browne.
