Dear Parents and Friends,
There are some important events coming up as we move towards the end of the year. Please be sure to check the Upcoming Calendar Events page to ensure you don't miss out.
At the end of the school year our wonderful Italian Teacher, Sandra Incerti will be retiring from her position at St Christopher's. Sandy has been working at St Christopher's for 14 years and during this time has run a wonderful Italian program. As well as this there have been many days when she has filled in and worked as a casual relief teacher across all classes of the school. We will miss Sandy and her positive nature and friendly disposition. Sandy will be given a formal farewell at our final assembly on Tuesday 17 December, 12:30pm.
Next Monday, in order to prepare for 2025, some classroom furniture and other items will be moved around the school. In order to facilitate this, students will spend some time watching a movie (G rated) in the hall while relevant resources are relocated.
Please see the flyer below in regards to our Christmas party next week. We hope everyone can make it. If you are able to assist with our BBQ, please add your name to the document linked here. BBQ Helpers. The party will include sausages ($3) and cans of drink ($2). EFTPOS and cash accepted. There will also be an ice cream truck with items to purchase.
Thank you to the children and families who bought biscuits to help raise money for Breast Cancer. We raised $905 which has been sent to them today.
Students in Years Prep -4 have been taking part in a tennis clinic over the last two weeks during their physical education lesson. This is being run by Future Demand Tennis and coach (Jasper). Studnets will complete this clinic next Thursday. Thanks Mrs Banks for organising this clinic.
Tomorrow our assembly will be at 3pm in the hall. This will include students of the week. Please join us if you can.
If you have any concerns regarding your child, please see their teacher or myself.
