Welcome to another exciting year at POPS! Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, we're thrilled to have you in our school community.
New Students and Families
We warmly welcome some new families and their children to the POPS community:
Zara (FM) and Archie (5M)
Eliza (1B) and Fintan (3H),
Xander (2R), and Abigail (4M)
We’re sure everyone will help them feel at home and included in school activities.
A special welcome to our new Foundation students and their families! It was wonderful to see our youngest learners in their crisp uniforms, carrying oversized school bags, and stepping into their classrooms with bright smiles. Starting school is a big milestone, and we’re honoured to be part of this journey.
New and Returning staff members
We warmly welcome Miss Robison (2R) and Miss Keddou, who will be working with Mrs. DeCarlo. They have quickly become valued members of our team. We also welcome back Mrs Williams who will be working alongside Ms Hahn in year 3 and Miss Brincat who is teaching year 1.
Launching POPS’s New Vision, Mission, and Values
Last year, through our school review process and feedback from students, parents, and the wider community, we revisited and refined our vision, mission, and values. A clear message emerged: our school thrives on its strong, positive, and inclusive community. A supportive and engaged community fosters student learning, encourages kindness, and promotes respect for all cultures.
I am pleased to share a document that reflects our aspirations for the school, a vision that embodies who we are and what we strive to achieve together.
Share your child’s achievements with Ms. Garrity to celebrate with our community. Big or small, every accomplishment matters!
This year will be filled with enriching learning experiences, exciting projects, and a strong sense of community. From creative arts to sports and whole school celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
At POPS, education is a partnership between school and home. We value family involvement and encourage connection through events, volunteering, and engagement in your child’s learning. Together, we can make this year rewarding for all students.
Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the school year!
Ms. Garrity
