Happy New Year
We would like to wish the entire school community a very Happy New Year. We hope that everyone has returned with a rejuvenated spirit towards whatever lies ahead. We would like to welcome all the new families to our school community and hope to see many of you join the Parents & Friends committee this year.
Chinese New Year
This year, Chinese (Lunar) New Year was on 29 January. The celebrations will last for 14 days and end on 12 February. 2025 is the Year of the Snake, which symbolizes good luck, rebirth and regality. A very warm Chinese New Year Greeting from the PFA to everyone celebrating within the EDSC community.
As our students start a new school year at EDSC, let it be a year of hope and prosperity for the entire community.
Meet & Greet Social Night
The Parents & Friends Association invites all new and returning families to join us at our first event for the year which will be a Meet &GreetSocial Night.
Location : The John Landy Centre
When : Monday 24 February 2025
Time : 7.00 PM
You will have the opportunity to meet our current group of parents and we will be happy to share how this dynamic group supports the college.
The Parents and Friends Committee is an informal, friendly group of interested parents who assist at various school functions throughout the year such as information nights, music nights, school production, parent/teacher interview days etc. We also fundraise with a focus on raising extra funds to use on worthwhile projects that will benefit the College community.
Come join us – possibly take up a position on the PFA executive committee, be involved and stay informed about the exciting events that take place in your child’s school.
Those who have already expressed interest will be sent an email invite over the next few days. If any more members of the school community would like to join, please email Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will add you on to the distribution list.
