We wish all our families a safe and fun school holiday break.
If you are planning an extended holiday, please enter your child/ren's absences in Compass as a(family holiday). This helps our classroom teachers plan for next term.
Please keep the school informed if your family changes address or contact numbers (including emergency contacts).
Next term, we will send home student enrolment details for parents to check their student enrolment details.
Please take time to carefully check the forms and return them with amendments.
In the meantime, Parents can email the school to request updates, and we will action this on your behalf.
If you need some extra winter uniform items, our official supplier is PSW (Uniform Group). Please refer to the diagram below of the official uniform items available for purchase.
They stock lots of warm clothing, including polar fleece jackets, rain jackets, tights, wool pinafores and even a beanie with our logo!

We appreciate the families who volunteer at WHPS, including classroom helpers, School Council members, and those who assist with excursions and fundraising. To volunteer at WHPS, you must have a Valid Working with Children Card. Cards are free and mandatory for volunteers.
How to apply for a Working With Children Card (Volunteer):
You can apply via the following link: Services Vic.
It takes 6-12 weeks to issue a card.
For more information on the Working with Children Card and applications, please visit: Home | Working with Children.
A reminder that parents/carers are responsible for signing students in at school after the morning bell (students cannot sign in).
If you arrive late, the parent will sign in at the Compass kiosk in the office.
Compass Attendance Note
Sign Students out at the School Office
Students are actively learning until 3:30 pm each day. Often, in the last 30 minutes, students finish their work, and teachers wrap up the day of learning.
We suggest you allow 5-10 minutes for early student collection. With 700 students in various locations and activities around the school, please allow a minimum of 5-10 minutes for students to be located, finish their activity, get their bag, and come to the office for parent pickup.
To avoid classroom interruptions and due to a large number of student pickups and changes to end-of-day arrangements, from 3:15, parents will need to sign students out and may need to go directly to the classroom.
Students on school grounds are only supervised until the 3:45 pm bell. After this time, the school is closed as staff attend meetings and other duties. The School Office closes at 3:45 pm each day, and staff cannot supervise children.
At the 3:45 pm bell, staff will direct any student still on school grounds or at Kiss n Go locations to the School Office, and will contact parents. The school will contact parents and emergency contacts by phone and SMS to arrange urgent collection by 4 pm.
We recommend that you register your childn/ren with the OSHC program. Registration is free and useful for days you may be late.
