Dear St Mary’s Primary School Community,

We would like to express our deep thanks and gratitude for the beautiful outpouring of love and care from the St Mary’s Primary School community following our family’s tragedy. We are so humbled and honoured to be part of such a close community.

Raphael, Evita and Philomena were apprehensive prior to starting at a new school, but we soon found there was no need to be nervous. On the first day we walked in, within a few minutes St Mary’s students had approached us and invited the new children to play straight away. Our children felt very comfortable, and any nerves were calmed before class started. Our children enjoyed the company of their classmates and loved meeting children from all grades.

Thank you to the Teachers and Staff of St Mary’s for all the work they do in creating fun and engaging learning environments. Our children enjoyed attending school and appreciated all the Ɵme and energy invested in their learning.

We have read each and every beautiful memory that was shared by St Mary’s students. Thank you for sharing these memories, as they have brought us great comfort, knowing that our children were welcomed so quickly, met many kind and caring friends, and were loved by them.

Thank you also for the beautiful cards and gifts from school families. We have been very touched and look forward to meeting those we do not yet know around town or as our younger sons enter school. We look forward to keeping in touch with St Mary’s School.
