Our Year Three students embarked on an incredible adventure at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne! Engaging in the enriching program, "Connecting to Country," they delved into the vibrant world of Aboriginal Culture, discovering the profound ways in which plants were integral to daily life.
Learning the art of making string and delving deep into Aboriginal traditions, the students immersed themselves in an educational journey steeped in heritage. Following this insightful session, they ventured through the gardens, exploring an array of Australian and international plants.
This excursion was an opportunity for our students to connect with nature, history, and diverse cultures, leaving them inspired and awestruck by the wonders of the botanical world.
