Parenting the Unique
All our kids are unique - of course they are, uniquely made in the image of God!
But some have particular, additional needs as students which bring their own challenges.
So there’s now a new support group for parents of students with additional needs. It's designed to be a warm and welcoming space to meet others who share your unique experience of parenting and caring for your kids. There are two dates proposed for this term:
- Monday 4 December
Both meetings will run 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the FOD Lounge (Building A, next to Primary play area)

Prep - Yr 4 Jazz dance: Thursdays Lunchtime (12.30 -1.20pm)
Year 5 - 8 Jazz dance: Tuesdays (3.30-4.30pm)
Prep - Yr 4 Ballet: Thursdays (3.30-4.15pm)
45min classes - $160 per term
1hr classes - $180 per term

Short Courses at Ranges TEC
Ranges TEC is a campus of MECS (Mt Evelyn Christian School). We provide short courses to local schools, as well as the general public. Our vision is to equip and train people for service, stewardship and work in God’s world.

CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
This course provides an opportunity for those wishing to gain employment in the building and construction industry or owner/builders who are planning a home extension or renovation. WorkSafe requires that all people working on a construction site must complete this safety construction induction course.
Dates of Delivery:
Monday 27 November 4-10pm
Venue: Ranges TEC, 1/9 Hightech Place, Lilydale
Cost: $140 per person
FIRST AID LEVEL 2
(2 sessions, 5 hours each plus 4-6 hours of online pre-work)
Provide first aid HLTAID009
This course provides workplace specific first aid training, including CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma. Participants will learn how to respond to a range of emergency situations, practice performing CPR and a range of other first aid treatments. Learners will also discuss and develop risk minimisation strategies and management plans for the workplace.
Dates of Delivery:
Monday 20 November, 4-9pm
(Learners must attend both sessions and complete the online work before the practical sessions.)
