We have lots of events and activities coming up this term, so please keep an eye on the calendar and compass messages.
Grade 6 Basketball Team:
Well done to our Grade 6 boys basketball team who competed in the district basketball competition. Thank you to the parents who transported the children and to Tracey Sever who coached and supported the team.
Regional Athletics:
Well done to Ryder H who has made it to the regional level of athletics in Long Jump. This is an amazing effort and we wish you all the best for Monday.
Parent Support:
Thank you to Blair Tourk for fixing some power points at the school for us. We appreciate your support.
2025 enrolments:
It's that time of year when we are planning for the next year. Knowing our student numbers has a big impact on our planning. We are excited to have a large number of Prep students enrolled for next year and an overall increase in our student numbers. We will be adding an extra grade next year. To assist with our planning, if you are not planning on being at our school next year, it helps us if we know before the end of the year. We often have students telling us that they are moving towns or changing schools, but we like this to be confirmed by parents.
Before School Supervision:
I know I have mentioned this in the newsletter and via compass a number of times, however we still have a large number of students arriving at school before there is supervision. Please remember that it is not appropriate to assume that school staff will supervise your children prior to 8.45am. Whilst I understand that many parents need to get to their workplace by a certain time, it is still your responsibility to make suitable arrangements for your children. The school has before and after school care available. Students can be dropped off at 8.30am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday if they are attending breakfast club.
