Student Representative Council
Hi everyone,
Once again the Rolling Hills School Community has excelled themselves! You responded with amazing generosity to the Student Representative Council, Animal Aid fundraiser. Mark Menze (the CEO) of the charity visited our SRC group on Monday 16th September. He congratulated our students for organising such a successful fundraiser and was overwhelmed by your generous contributions.
He brought one of the rescue animals from the centre, so the SRC members were lucky enough to meet Poppy, a deaf and very energetic puppy! Mark explained some of the work the charity does to support animals in need, like Poppy.
The SRC members had a tough job loading all of the contributions into the van. They worked tirelessly to transport the tins of dog and cat food, blankets, towels, treats and toys. The fundraiser was well organised by the SRC and the commnity support was immense. A special thanks to Thea for organising the visit from Mark and his furry friend Poppy!
The SRC would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the Rolling Hills Community. Your support is much appreciated. The Grade 3-6 reps are currently researching children's charities to suport in Term 4, so please keep your eyes peeled for news early next term.
Have a great holiday everyone!
