From the Principal

We would like to acknowledge the original custodians of this land

and waterways and pay our respects to the Elders past and

present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions,

the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia.

In Faith we will show..... Respect, Empathy, Inclusion, Excellence!

Year 3 and 4 Camp

I had the privilege of attending camp  last Monday and was so proud of the students for showing the School Values of Respect, Excellence, Inclusion and Empathy. They tried their best in all the activities, were respectful to students and staff, cooperated at all times, showed great teamwork in activities and most importantly had fun.

A huge thank you to the staff, Melanie Norton, Carla Whitfield and Vesna Simic who were so supportive of them at all times and in particular to Tim O'Mahoney for coordinating with the camp staff all that was required.  Please refer to our special page for the photos of activities.

School Closed

The school will be closed on Monday 4 November for Report Writing Day, remembering that Tuesday 5 November is Melbourne Cup Public Holiday 2024. OSHC will not be available on these two days.

Chicken Pox

We wish to advise you that there has been a case of Chicken Pox in our school.

Please look out for the classic signs of chickenpox.  It presents with a rash that begins as many small red bumps that look like pimples or insect bites. They appear in waves over 2–4 days, then develop into thin-walled blisters filled with fluid. The blister walls break, leaving open sores, which finally crust over to become dry, brown scabs.

Please keep an eye on your child/ren and if they do come down with it please advise the school as soon as possible.

October the Month of the Rosary

Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou  among women,

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, mother of God,

pray for us sinners,

now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

Sincerely yours

Margaret Carlei
